Techopedia Explains Open Data Center
An open data center primarily works around the standards and procedures developed by the open data center alliance (ODCA), which currently consists of more than 300 companies actively working on open standards for data centers. Typically, an open data center aims at building a data center that works on the principles of cloud computing. It requires building data center applications and services that can easily be integrated with other solutions to simplify management, reduce capital and operational costs, and reduce the data center’s carbon footprint.
